Cedar Butte Trail

Cedar Butte Trail is another perfect afternoon/sunset hike, preferable for your Wednesday early dismissal. The trailhead is about an hour’s drive from the West Seattle “island”. Last Thursday, my family joined another family in our “quaranteam” on this adventure.

The entire trail, we did not cross another soul. At one point, the trail splits. The right fork, while longer, is a fun walk through moss covered trees and a break from the uphill climb. The shorter, left fork is perfect for the quick descent back to the trailhead.

When looking through my photos, I found all of them include the other family’s children, so I won’t be adding any to this article, but you can find plenty of material at the WTA website.

Enjoy.
