Popsicles on the playground
The day before school starts, we all pile onto the playground for a couple of hours. Come find the people you haven't seen since June, let the kids tear around together, and shake off the first-day nerves before that first bell.

It's about as low-key as it gets. There's no program, nothing to bring, and nothing to sign up for. We'll be handing out popsicles and hanging around to answer anything you want to ask — how volunteering actually works, what a class coordinator does, whether joining the PTSA means signing your life away. (It doesn't!)
