Giving Tuesday - Fundraising Campaign
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that was established in 2012 as a simple idea: to encourage people to do good. Use this year's Giving Tuesday to support Pathfinder K-8! These funds will allow us to directly support students, staff, and families.
This year, we plan to invest over $124K in programs and resources that touch every corner of our school. From classroom support, our specials (Art, Music, Library, Garden and PE), essential supplies, to playground supervisors who keep our students safe. These funds play a critical role in ensuring our children thrive both inside and outside the classroom. We strive to enrich the student experience beyond academics.
A large portion of our budget also supports events that bring our community together—like the Harvest Festival, Science Fair, graduation, and dances. In addition, PTSA covers key expenses such as equity support, staff appreciation, after-school program and field trip scholarships. We also cover overhead costs such as insurance and bookkeeping. You can learn more about our operating budget here.
Double Your Impact with Corporate Matching
Many employers will match your donation to Pathfinder PTSA, whether it’s a Move-a-Thon pledge, a Direct Give contribution, or both. Pathfinder PTSA is a registered 501(c)(3), so if your employer offers a matching program, your gift could be doubled, making an even bigger difference for our students and programs. Check with your HR department to see if your company participates—it’s an easy way to maximize your impact!
Support Pathfinder and the programs that make our school magic!

Move-a-thon 2025!
Let’s get our bodies moving with a sponsored move-a-thon! This fundraiser is a simple and fun way to contribute towards our community's goals and gets everyone moving. Help us meet our goal of $10,000! All students will participate in the Move-A-Thon, and although pledges are appreciated, they’re not required. If they wish, students can collect pledges and earn money for each lap they complete in a 20 minute period. They can run, walk, skip, cartwheel - the way they move is up to them!
All pledges are due two weeks after the Move-A-Thon (due by October 15th). Please bring in any cash and checks and deposit them safely at the front office. Use this link to register your student to participate!
PRIZES
To encourage friendly competition amongst our students, there will be a limited number of prizes available. Please note, prizes are based on quantity of pledges collected, not the total amount raised.
The class with the greatest number of pledges collected (not the greatest amount raised) will win a Shaved Ice party!
The student with the greatest number of pledges (not the greatest amount raised) in each grade will receive a $20 gift card to Meeples Games, Paper Boat Booksellers, OR Highland Park Corner Store.
We will host an award ceremony during Harvest Festival (medals and all!)
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need your help to make this day a fantastic experience for our students! Please join us for setup, running with the students, high fivers, counting laps, 1st aid station, or water station. The more volunteers we get, the more fun our movers will have. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign-up on our SignUpGenius.
