Move-a-thon 2025!

Let’s get our bodies moving with a sponsored move-a-thon! This fundraiser is a simple and fun way to contribute towards our community's goals and gets everyone moving. Help us meet our goal of $10,000! All students will participate in the Move-A-Thon, and although pledges are appreciated, they’re not required. If they wish, students can collect pledges and earn money for each lap they complete in a 20 minute period. They can run, walk, skip, cartwheel - the way they move is up to them!

All pledges are due two weeks after the Move-A-Thon (due by October 15th). Please bring in any cash and checks and deposit them safely at the front office. Use this link to register your student to participate!

PRIZES

To encourage friendly competition amongst our students, there will be a limited number of prizes available. Please note, prizes are based on quantity of pledges collected, not the total amount raised.

  • The class with the greatest number of pledges collected (not the greatest amount raised) will win a Shaved Ice party!

  • The student with the greatest number of pledges (not the greatest amount raised) in each grade will receive a $20 gift card to Meeples Games, Paper Boat Booksellers, OR Highland Park Corner Store.

  • We will host an award ceremony during Harvest Festival (medals and all!)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need your help to make this day a fantastic experience for our students! Please join us for setup, running with the students, high fivers, counting laps, 1st aid station, or water station. The more volunteers we get, the more fun our movers will have. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign-up on our SignUpGenius.

Back-To-School Social

Let's kick-off the new school year with our annual Back-to-School Social!

We are looking forward to meeting and mingling with all our Pathfinder families on Tuesday, September 2nd from 2:30 - 4:30 PM. The purpose of the Social is to bring the school community together and give an opportunity for our students and families to connect with our teachers and the school staff. Plan for:

  • 2:30-3:30pm - Classrooms Open

  • 3:30-4:30pm - Social on the Playground

Plan to bring school supplies to your classroom during the Social. This will make the first day of school a lot less hectic for your child!
