Open Enrollment for School Choice

Each student in Seattle Public Schools is assigned to a school based on where that student lives. Students may apply to attend a different school through the School Choice Process.
For school placement for next school year, the Open Enrollment and School Choice is February 1-28. On-time School Choice applications will be accepted during this window. New students must first register on the Enrollment webpage before participating in the open enrollment.
March 1 – May 31 Late applications will be accepted. Tiebreakers will not apply for late applications.
April 18 Parents can access their child’s school choice results or waitlist information online through the Assignment Lookup Tool. To use the Assignment Lookup Tool, please enter your student’s ID number and birth date.
