Sharing the Gift 2023

Sharing the Gift is one of Pathfinder’s oldest and most beloved traditions. Each spring Sharing the Gift gives students and adults in our school community a chance to try out a new skill or activity.

For three Friday afternoons – May 12th , May 19th  and June 2nd  – students attend an elective style class hosted by a teacher, staff member, parent, family, or community member. Classes have the same students each week and last about 90 minutes.

DO YOU HAVE A PASSION OR SKILL YOU WANT TO SHARE?

We want you to participate!

Anything you enjoy doing can be the inspiration for a class. Classes involving art, science, the environment, dance, movement, games, etc. all work. You choose the age group and number of kids you want in your class.  You can team with another person or teach alone.

Past classes have included:

  • Sports: basketball, kickball, soccer, baseball, jump rope
  • Dance, yoga, cheerleading and other movement activities
  • Sewing, knitting, crafts, beading
  • Woodworking, construction, design, Legos, model building
  • Math games, board games, fantasy games
  • Music, drama, building simple instruments
  • Making dolls, clothes, puppets,
  • Rocketry, science, gardening

Use your Imagination and share a gift you love!
