This year, your PTSA has BUILDING COMMUNITY  shaping everything we do. We are committed to racial and economic justice and are stepping in to lead our school in embracing a future in which we all feel seen and experience value and belonging. We are also committed to making sure that the programs we know and love continue to enrich our children’s education and lives. Pathfinder is known for its incredible community; its staff and students and families, as well as for its rich education and the extra programming it provides to each and every student. 

The Direct Give Event aims to fund aspects of your child’s day that are sadly not funded by Seattle Public schools. It is only by fundraising that every child and family in this school benefits equally from the enrichment programs offered at Pathfinder. It is only through fundraising =and the generosity of this community that programs such as Camping, Garden, and Storytelling exist. The PTSA funds classroom support, a school counselor, assemblies and graduation ceremonies. It ensured that the PE program, Art Program and Music Program all  have the supplies and support  they need to be the incredible programs our children thrive in  each week.  Without the funding that the PTSA provides these programs suffer or even worse cease to exist.

It has been a hard few years. Our sense of Community  has suffered at a time when we  have needed it most. We are asking the community at Pathfinder this year to come together.  We are inviting you to show up in any way that you can. The programs sponsored by the PTSA exist only through the generosity of this community. They rely on  our financial generosity  and the generosity of our time and participation. We are asking you to show up this year  by donating your money and/or  time and participation  in an effort to support  BUILDING COMMUNITY.   It is only in Unity that we can continue to thrive. It is only in Unity that we can continue to  fund the extra programming that makes Pathfinder  the school we love and value, the place in which our children fly.

We are encouraging families to consider making a monthly recurring donation. This method of giving often allows us as community members  to give more over time while also providing   sustainability and longevity to the PTSA’s ability to plan and fund programming.  A monthly donation of $20/child would fund this budget and more! A  one time donation is of course also of great value. Please DIG DEEP and give what you can!
