Scratch: Arcade Games 1Do you love classic arcade games? In this workshop, students will learn how to recreate a different arcade game each day, including Brick Breaker, Space Invaders, and more! Using Scratch, students will learn various coding concepts and techniques to apply to recreating arcade games. Students will build on their existing coding foundations to challenge themselves by coding various types of classic games.3-7April 25th
Dragons Love Tacos Over the course of the program, students will play and explore creatively along to this deliciously funny, and unforgettable tale of new friends and the perfect snack that will make you laugh until spicy salsa comes out of your nose,K-2April 26th
Fairytale Play Creation Swords and sorcery, dangerous quests, dragons, owlbears, and wizards, oh my! In this camp, students will explore the art of character development and storytelling by creating original characters, scenes, and songs that are set within a world of high fantasy (think Dungeons & Dragons, The Hobbit, and The Last Unicorn). In addition to writing and acting out their stories, students will make props, put together costumes, and create set pieces for their original play. On the final day of class, the students will present their final performances to a limited audience of family and friends.K-2April 24th
Trendy Crafts-All Things Spring 2023Celebrate Spring with Trendy Crafts this session. Join us for a weekly arts and craft project featuring everything we love about Spring. Bugs, butterflies, bees, flowers and so much more. We will make a new project each week using all of the latest supplies and techniques in a social setting. This session’s craft projects include blinged out birdhouses, a mixed media canvas project, a special Mother’s Day gift and so much more!K-5April 24th

World Dance Classes
Come get your worldly groove on! Each session of World Dance with Marissa will focus on a different area of the world. Participants will learn a variety of cultural dances from the featured area of the world. Students will further learn about each place by creating a booklet of coloring pages illustrating various cultural aspects of each country. Dress up, dance videos, games, stories, and instruments from these cultures will also be part of the children’s World Dance experience. Join us! Delight in your child’s end-of-session performance complete with costumes on the final day of class!K-2April 24th
Adventures in STEM with LEGO MaterialsLet your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.K-2April 26th
Kid’s Carpentry at Pathfinder K-8Kids’ Carpentry is a hands on toy building experience designed to teach kids, 5-10, practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects they are also empowered to become interdependent thinkers, building confidence, self esteem and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime!1-5April 26th
Pathfinder Elementary Chess Club Join the chess club! Learn chess tactics and strategies, solve chess puzzles and quizzes, please chess with your friends! All materials are provided, just come ready to learn!1-5April 26th
Fashion Design & Runway: Animal KingdomYoung fashion designers will unleash their creativity by creating runway-ready looks inspired by a specific animal from the Animal Kingdom! Participants will “shop” from a wide variety of fabulous fabrics and trims; create concept sketches based upon their inspiration, AND work 1-on-1 with fashion designer/instructor “Miss Reese” to bring their wild visions to life!1 and upApril 27th
Wearable ArtCreate art that you can wear from upcycled materials. We will work with tie dye, make our own beads from clay and magazines, make masks, jewelry and even headbands. Each week we will work with a new materials and subject to create a new wearable piece – come and join in the fun!1-5April 26th
Mandarin After-SchoolWe aim to teach basic language skills through fun activities, as well as through song and dance, playing games, speaking Mandarin, making art, and other interactive group tasks.K-4April 24th
PokemonAsh is learning to be a Pokémon trainer, but that is no easy feat. Come along on Ash’s journey of Pokémon-filled adventure and newfound friendship to stop Team Rocket from using the creatures for their own nefarious schemes!3-8April 24th
Ukulele 101Come learn the ukulele with us! Whether you’ve played before or have never picked one up, our group ukulele class gives students the opportunity to learn an instrument that they can take with them anytime, anywhere. Basic knowledge of the instrument is introduced while learning to tune, strum, and read tablature and chord charts. We will also learn about the cultural significance and history of the ukulele. Students will leave this class being able to pick out simple, familiar melodies and play a handful of basic chords that can be used to play hundreds of songs! On the final day of class, students will have the opportunity to share what they’ve learned with friends and family by performing a showcase of selected songs.2-5April 28th
Roblox: Intro to Game DevelopmentThis course is a great way to build on the Roblox interest and have kids learn to code. Students are introduced to computer programming concepts, including Loops, Conditionals, and Variables. They design and build a simple 3D Roblox game, navigate the coding platform and code the game, then play the game. To practice, students build simple projects, such as the Prison Escape game and Obby the obstacle course game.3-5April 24th
Little Coders: Animations – 9 weeksLearn how to make your own animations in Scratch using basic coding skills! In this workshop, students will focus on the arts and animations side of game development. Through various projects, students will learn how to create their own characters, animate them, and tell their story through art, creativity, and basic coding skills! Our curriculum focuses on reinforcing concepts in different ways to help students retain new ideas and build a strong foundation for future learning.K-2April 27th
